OCT. 27th 2014 - $5 off w/costume - Guest DJ Supernova
The Bronx usually doesn’t come to mind first when naming New York boroughs, but rest assured it stands tall next to Brooklyn and Queens in terms of cultural impact. From being the birthplace of Hip-Hop to housing the iconic NY Yankees, it also has provided roots for rising DJ, Super Nova. His hometown seemingly provided sounds and experiences on demand, forging a backdrop for every set he would play in the future.
Super Nova brought his childhood dream to life by becoming a highly sought after DJ as a Penn State University student. He quickly made a name for himself on the collegiate party circuit in addition to performing alongside a range of popular music acts including Fabolous, Lupe Fiasco, O.A.R., and Pitbull. Since graduation, the young party professor has focused on expansion — taking his show on the road, performing in Belize, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and South Africa while also making radio stops on Sirius/XM and Metro FM (National South African Radio). In continuing the theme of expansion, he has most recently been tapped to provide Sound Design services for theatric productions nationwide.
2014 continues to be a great year for DJ Super Nova having completed multi-city tours in both the Northeast US and South Africa. When not on tour, he has kept busy in his residence of Southern California where he maintains a strong presence in Los Angeles and Long Beach. He is currently prepping his second tour, which will cover 10 cities this fall. You can also catch DJ Super Nova at Chicago Shakespeare Theater for the second run of "A Q Brothers’ Christmas Carol Project" this winter.
