Y2k Sound is made up of Rudeboy Galiss, Chaos, Dj Francis, Shawn Captain, and Spec. The sound has set a solid foundation in several areas in the United States namely; California, Texas, and NYC: including a few territories overseas such as Japan.
Dj Francis started DJing in 1995 in the NYC area and took to the next level when he moved to Japan in 2005. Francis started an event in Okinawa, called Tun Up Fridays which the Japanese Dancehall/Reggae fans grew to love. Dj Francis played alongside the biggest names in Japan, such as Captain C, Asian Star, Unity Sound, and King Life Star. Also worth mentioning is Dj Francis' successful promotion of the Big Sound out of Florida, Champion Squad in Japan in June 2012.
