It all began with a love for music of all types. A-Rock purchased his first Numark DJ pack and discovered a hobby that would change the direction of his life altogether. A once aspiring college baseball player at the University of Florida, had discovered his true calling. With a knack for mashing multiple genres into unique blends, he had developed a style that electrified crowds and subsequently has become one of Orlando’s hottest DJs.
A-Rock acquired his DJ name from his knack for mashing beats from an eclectic range of music. His risk-taking style and desire to develop unique sounds has distinguished him from others. A-Rock points to several artists that have spurred his creative style- from ATRAK, Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash to DJ AM, Def Tones, Linkin Park and Daft Punk.
A-Rock’s gift for instinctively responding to the moods of his crowds and integrating his knowledge of past and present collections have led him to perform for thousands, including popular NBA athletes and many of his peers. In view of his dreams of performing on the Lollapalooza stage and his capacity for musical innovation, A-Rock will undoubtedly succeed.
