Guest DJ Jayceeoh Feb. 21

Thanks to all who came to last week's edition of More Fire Mondays with guest DJ Buddy. It was a great turn out and this week we hope you can join us for another positive night.

Monday Feb. 21st we have DJ Jayceeoh on the decks. Most recently known as the winner of the 2011 McDonald's National Flavor Battle and for his Super 7 Mixtapes. Jayceeoh has a solid collection of mixes available on his website, http://jayceeoh.blogspot.com/. As an artist Jay has collaborated with some of hip hop's finest, including Talib Kweli, J-Dilla, KRS-one, Little Brother, Sean Price and Pete Rock.

This Monday we are welcoming a local by the name of DJ BUDDY to the decks. Some of you may know him from an online show and station called DJ Buddy Tv, full of topic discussions ranging from Hip Hop and it's influences now, to last nights shenanigans and why DJ's hate taking requests.

Here's a little background:

"Since 17, DJ Buddy has been cutting his own path. His motto? "if you think you have to do something, then do it. Do it now." His career saw it's potential his senior year in high school, DJing two house parties a weekend every weekend. Night clubs from the IE to LA to NY and overseas soon followed. He is also a master of ceremonies at formal events.

Currently, Buddy is the official DJ for Frank Nitt (Frank-N-Dank) & the Nittones as well as the official mixtape DJ for Mello Music Group. He is involved with a few of today's top indie Hip Hop acts including Trek Life, Basicali, Oddisee & Diamond District.

Buddy has three current ongoing projects: The Mini Mix, DJ Buddy TV and Mini Vids. You can find out more about these on his website, http://www.buddybuddybuddy.com/. He has also setup his platform for future philanthropic work.
